Why people move the nbn box
The connection box is often installed wherever the line enters the house, which can be a garage, a hallway or the far end of the home. Moving it, or running cabling from it, puts your modem where you actually use the internet, and a modem closer to the middle of the home usually covers more rooms with Wi-Fi.
What to tell us
- Your nbn connection type, if you know it. It is shown in your internet provider’s account or on your bill.
- Where the box is now, and the room you want it or the modem in.
- Whether the home is single or double storey.
