What a CCTV package is
A package is the set of parts that work together, installed as one job:
- Cameras, placed to cover the doors, driveway or areas you choose
- A recorder (usually called an NVR) that stores the footage
- Storage in the recorder, which decides how many days of footage it keeps
- Cabling from each camera back to the recorder
- The app on your phone to watch live and play back footage
Questions worth answering before a quote
- Which areas do you want covered, and do you need to see faces, number plates or just movement?
- Where can the recorder sit, out of sight but with power and a network connection?
- How many days of footage do you want to keep?
