Before you choose a doorbell
Power. Battery doorbells need recharging from time to time. Wired doorbells run from a low voltage supply or from your existing doorbell wiring, so they do not need charging.
Wi-Fi at the front door. A video doorbell streams over your home Wi-Fi. If the signal at the door is weak, the video drops out. It is worth checking the signal on your phone standing where the doorbell will go.
